Aphrodite Hills

Our apartment is just 10 min drive from the famous Aphrodite Hills Golf Resort which is situated in a stunning location overlooking the Mediterranean. The magnificent Golf course takes its name from the birthplace of Aphrodite which it overlooks and is regarded as the most exclusive leisure, golf and property development in the Eastern Mediterranean. The resort itself spans an entire 234 hectares (578 acres) and the golf course weaves in and out around the development. The Award Winning Golf course is surrounded by protected forest and comprises 2 plateaux separated by a dramatic ravine, which gives players the unique opportunity to tee off across it at certain points. The course is par 71/70 and its length is 6,299m.

Secret Valley

Secret Valley Golf Club is a further 5 min and is an 18 hole championship golf course set in a spectacular setting of mature trees with beautiful sculpted rock formations all around. The front 9 has 4 nice warm-up holes, two birdie opportunities and an easy dog-leg. The back nine is much more challenging.18 holes, Par 72, 6120 metres in length. Practice facilities including putting greens, chipping areas, fairway bunkers and a large driving range, golf clinics are also available. Elegant clubhouse includes pro-shop, locker rooms, bar and restaurant with verandas overlooking the golf course. Buggy rental, electric trolley rental, manual trolley rental, locker rental per day. Players without handicap certificate can play after 12 noon on request, according to availability.

Tsada


About 30 min from our apartment nestled in the foothills of the Troodos Mountain range is Tsada Golf Club. 500 metres above sea level, so cooler in the summer. Again a challenging 18 hole course laid out in 2 loops of 9 holes blending beautifully with the natural environment of fruit trees, vines and streams. 6000 metres in length and par 71 it has a clubhouse and restaurant with green fees similar to Secret Valley.

Vikla


The Vikla Golf and Country Club was founded in 1992 and designed by Rob Houry. It is situated near the village of Vikla about 20km drive from Limassol. This club is one of the more relaxed here in Cyprus and prides itself on its customer service. The dress code is casual and no handicap is required. The club house here has a fantastic standard of drinks and bar snacks at good prices. For those who do not play golf there is a swimming pool and garden terrace overlooking the green. The club pro shop has a good selection of equipment to both hire and purchase.
