The ancient city of Curium | |

Curium (also known as Kourion or Curias) is a ruined city on the way to Limassol. The city endured from antiquity till well into the middle ages. The city has a rich history, and lies close to the sanctuary of Apollo, with its famous Cypro-corinthian columns.
Within the ruins there lies many well preserved mosaics, as well as public baths and a large ampitheatre. More information can be found on Wikipedia. |

Curium Beach | |

About a 15/20 min drive from the apartment Curium beach is a bay of granular sand overlooked by the magnificent amphitheatre. It is located to the west of Limassol. It is generally a quiet beach with a couple of good fish tavernas.
This is a suitable beach for children of all ages. Here you can often see hand-gliders from the cliffs above. The beach is mainly used for swimming but you may have some kite surfers out in the water. |
